China likes to attract more Swedish buyers and sellors to “Canton Fair” and Shanghai CIIE Fair

STOCKHOLM, Sept. 14(Greenpost) — China Import&Export Trade Fair and China International Import Expo promotion conference has been held in Stockholm.

Zhang Qiaozhen, President of Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association and focal person in Nordic Innovation Center made a welcome remark.

“Over the past 61 years, Canton Fair has been a grand international fair growing up along with New China and a witness for China’s reform and opening up.  ”

Zhang Qiaozhen said over the past decade, Canton Fair has strengthened China and the World’s Trade relations and become the first promotion platform for foreign trade.

Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association is an organization that serves as a bridge between Nordic enterprises and enterprises and government in information exchange, mutual help and cooperation and win-win.  “We shall help those companies that are suitable to develop in China to find partners in China and even help them find funding and provide marketing solutions.  Canton Fair is a good platform for you to go to China and Asian market.”

Han Xiaodong, counselor at the Chinese Embassay in Sweden said Sweden has seen surplus in trade with China. This implies that Chinese people have a strong demand of Swedish goods. He welcomes Swedish enterprises to attend the Canton Fair and China International Import and Export Fair.

Elisabet Söderstrom, Secretary of Sweden-China Trade Council said at the conference that although there are many media in the society, there is still the need to meet face to face.  Canton Fair and China International Import and Export Fair. She said that Huawei and Volvo are actually also their members.

Fredrik Uddenfeldt, Director of Asia Region in Invest Sweden said trade between China and Sweden has increased a lot. Sweden has exported more products to China than to America. Sweden’s enterprises in China also see increases in a number of over 100. China’s manufacturing industry are the best and some products are even better than that in Europe.  So he encouraged enterprises to go to China to attend the two fairs.

Lena Miranda, Chairman of Sweden Incubater and CEO of Jönköping Incubater said that it is time for both Sweden and China to do real businesses, it is not just a visit, but do real business.  Canton Fair and CIIE are good platform for businesses.

Ye Jijiang, Vice Chairman of China Foreign Trade Center finally made a promotion about Canton Fair and CIIE.

“China is melting into the world and the world also needs China. Over the past 61 years, one can see that Canton Fair is one of the most professional trade fair platform. ”

With the 123 fairs over 61 years, China has become the largest export freight trade country.  Canton fair has become the largest fair in the world. During the Spring Fair, a total of 667 Swedish attended the fair among 203346 people.

The 124 fair will be held in Canton between Mid October and Nov. 4.  Ye Jijiang welcome all the Swedish entrepreneurs to attend the fairs.

Moreover, Nov. 5-10, China International Import Expo  will be held in Shanghai, with 2800 enterprises from 130 countries and regions being registered.

The CIIE will be a great platform for bilateral trade.

The two sides also held a small scale close door meeting before the conference.

Over 100 Swedish entrepreneurs and Swedish-Chinese entrepreneurs attended the conference to exchange ideas and shared information。

   SCEA and China-Sweden Startup Forum encourage young entrepreneurs to come to China

STOCKHOLM, May 29 (Greenpost) – Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association sponsored China-Sweden Startup Forum has encouraged Swedish young people to come to China to establish their businesses.

Being held in Stockholm’s KTH on May 25, over a hundred Swedish students and overseas Chinese students attended a forum titled Dragon Slide meaning that people are afraid of going to Chinese market, but the Chinese Dragon will actually bring a lot of opportunities for entrepreneurs.

Zhang Qiaozhen, President of Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association opened the forum and explained the mission of her association.

Zhang Qiaozhen said her association has held various summit between China and Sweden. For example, they held Nordic exhibition gallery during China International Cultural Fairs in Shenzhen in early May. In November they will participate in the China International Technology Achievement Fair (High-tech Fair) and host Nordic exhibition gallery to build up bridges in science and culture between Nordic countries and China. She called on young entrepreneurs to participate in her Nordic exhibition gallery in November this year.

She said under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, China has lowered its development speed and sought for high quality and efficiency. China is stepping on the green and low carbon and sustainable development road. This will not only be conducive to Chinese people but also contribute to the global development. Sweden has a lot of good experience worthwhile for China to learn.

Zhang Qiaozhen’s speech won a lot of response from the young entrepreneurs.

Juan Mauritz, founder of Swedish Startup Forum and SISP Chinese regional director Ulf Borbos also introduced their responsibilities at the opening of the forum.

Daigang, Counselor of Science and Technology of the Chinese Embassy in Sweden also attended the forum. He discussed the startups with Zhang Qiaozhen during the forum.

During the forum, Swedish entrepreneurs and professionals explained why people should go to China to develop with their own experiences and the difficulties and lessons.

The forum also arranged a program called Explore China meaning that they will arrange students to visit China and 777 students registered. Finally 16 were selected to have the chance to go to China to visit enterprises.

Many people are interested in exploring China, but they have language and cultural difficulties and that is what Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association likes to serve for them.

The forum attracted one than a hundred students and young entrepreneurs and they also commended the forum is very interesting and informative.

China welcomes Sweden to cooperate in ice sports:Chinese Ambassador Gui

STOCKHOLM, Jan. 14(Greenpost)–Chinese Ambassador to Sweden Gui Congyou has said China warmly welcome Sweden to cooperate and exchange with China in ice and snow sports.

He made this remark at Sweden-China Cultural Economic Sports Summit Forum held on Saturday in Stockholm.  The forum was sponsored by Sweden-China Entrepreneurs Association and supported by the visiting China International Communication Center and Beijing Kunlun Red Star Ice Hockey Club delegation and the Chinese Embassy to Sweden.

“I am very grateful for the visit with my invitation within a short time because it shows China’s great enthusiasm in ice hockey and paying great attention to bilateral exchange in ice sports with Sweden. It is well-known that Sweden is a strong country in ice hockey and other ice sports. I sincerely hope Swedish friends to seize this precious chance to actively conduct ice and snow sports exchange with China, jointly push Sino-Swedish relations in ice and snow sports to further develop and make great contribution to international Olympic Sports and world’s sports cause.” said Gui.

Zhang Qiaozhen, President of Sweden-China Entrepreneurs Association said her association likes to make their contribution to promote Sino-Swedish Ice sports cooperation.

“As Sweden-China Entrepreneurs Association, we’re willing to serve as a good bridge between Sweden and China in Sports and Cultural exchanges. We’re going to have detail discussions in this field.”

K-G Stoppel, Vice CEO of Swedish Djurgardens IF Hockey Club said that as a representative from the Ice Hockey circle, he thinks it is very important to promote and spread ice hockey.

“I think there is no better cooperation than with China. I fully agree that Beijing’s 2022 Winter Olypics will be a great chance for Chinese to increase their interest in ice sports. Considering Swedish Ice Hockey’ long history and our expertise in ice hockey and other ice sport training, I think we can cooperate with Chinese side in providing training for Chinese players, I look forward to further cooperation.  ”

But he warned that ice hockey is a sport that needs a lot of time, energy and sweat. It takes a long time to make breakthrough.

Long Yuxiang, CEO of China International Cultural Communicaiton Center expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador’s invitation and the hospitality of Zhang Qiaozhen, President of Sweden-China Entrepreneurs Association and the Swedish friends. He said his center was founded in 1984 and has become an important window for China’s cultural exchange with other countries. It has cultural exchanges with 130 countries in the world. He stressed that Chinese President Xi Jinping has paid great attention to 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics which will provide a lot of opportunities for Ice Hockey players.

“Sweden is our dreamed country in ice sports. I believe we will establish deep friendship through cultural and sports in particular ice hockey. I sincerely welcome Swedish Ice Hockey Association to visit us. We have established eight Ice hockey clubs in China within just one year, we plan to establish 20 Ice Hockey Clubs this year. Chances are equal for everyone, but if Sweden comes first, we prefer to cooperate with you.”

Kunlun Red Star Ice Hockey Club also presented their ice jersey to their Swedish counterparts while Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association also presented their presents to the honorary guests.

Goran Tidstrom, Vice Chairman of the Board of Djurgardens IF Hockey Club and Swedish Ice Hockey Association Board Member, Mickael Tellqvist, Former Goal Keeper and Martin Lundby from Swedish Ice Hockey Association were also present at the forum.

The forum was organized by Sweden-China Entrepreneurs Association and supported by China International Cultural Communication Center and the Chinese Embassy in Sweden.

First Sweden-China Entrepreneur Conference held in Shenzhen fruitful

STOCKHOLM, Nov. 20(Greenpost)—The first Sweden-China Entrepreneurs Match Making seminar held in Shen Zhen on Nov. 17 was very fruitful.

 

Many Swedish companies including Nordic Innovation Center,  Bayn Europe AB and Highlands Uptown AB and Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association have presented their companies, met their Chinese counterparts and signed agreements with them for future cooperation.

At the forum focusing on belt and road initiative, Gao Sinuo, Shenzhen Investment Promotion Agency said that Shenzhen is an innovative and open city and the bridge in connection to the outside world. Shenzhen is a cosmopolitan with greatest potential to invest.

Patrik Edström from Bayn Europe AB said his company is engaged in studying sugar reduction solutions at various chain. It was established in 2009 and was in public listing in Nasdaq in 2014.

Anders Berg, CEO of Highlander Uptown AB said they are going to build a financial IT platform and can help financial institutions to lower their cost by 90 percent and give good returns for private savings.

Agreements signed during the conference

Three agreements have been signed during the Swedan China Entrepreneur meeting.

Zhang Qiaozhen, President of Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association and Zhang Kao, Secretary of Huaya Center signed MOU, Patrik Edström of Bayn Europe AB signed agreement with Zhang Luping, General Manager of Kongwah Real Estate Group on studying of sugar reduction.

Leif Anders Berg signed agreement with Zhang Shenhua, President  of Shenzhen Xinyu Fund Management Co.ltd.

Zhang Qiaozhen thinks this signing of agreements between Swedish and Chinese enterprises is due to  a two year efforts. Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association and Bayn Europe AB signed agreement to cooperate in lowering sugar for good health. Karolinska Cancer research project and Finteck Financial management project have been a sign that the two projects have been in contact and cooperation with their Chinese counterparts.

Trade talks between the two sides

Ai Xuefeng, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen led his colleagues Qiu Xuan, Gao Lin, Sun Huaizhong, Wang Youming and Chen Guangwen from Shenzhen government came to talk with the Swedish companies led by Olle Zetterberg, Director of Business Sweden, Ulf Borbos of North European Innovation Center, Leif Anders from Highlander Uptown AB, Zhang Qiaozhen , President of  Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association and Zhang Luping, General Manager of Kongwah Real Estate Group.

Ai Xuefeng made an introduction about Shenzhen’s economic development and its strategic role in belt and road initiative.

He welcome Swedish entrepreneurs to invest in Shenzhen.

Olle Zetterberg said he was very  glad to come to beautiful Shenzhen and willing to cooperate with China. Sweden has a lot of high tech which can have great potential in China. Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association gave us a good beginning in bringing Swedish technology into China.

Zhang Qiaozhen held that although Sweden is the first country that established diplomatic relations with China, due to historical and cultural differences, there is still lack of understanding between the two sides. That is why Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association came into being. Its headquarter is in Stockholm. Over the past two years, the association is engaged in projects in high-tech, environmental protection, energy saving, clean energy and electronics. So far it has helped 105 high-tech enterprises and provided incubation platform for dozens of companies.

Thanks to the Chinese government’s free booth of High-Tech fair, Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association help many enterprises to attend this exhibition. Her association will continue to  exert an important role in providing good bridge for the two sides.

On Nov.18, Zetterberg and other Nordic Entrepreneurs were invited to visit the headquarters of the Kongwah Real Estate Group which covers a total of 30 thousand square meters in 16 storeys. The two sides discussed the establishment of Shenzhen Nordic Innovation Center and Incubator.

Zhang Luping also presented the company’s development plan and structure,hoping more European High-Tech enterprises can end up in Shenzhen.
