SCEA signs MOU with Foshan Business Bureau

STOCKHOLM, April. 23(Greenpost)—Swedish-Chinese Entrepreneur Association’s Vice President and Executive Manager Zhang Luping signed a Memorandum of Understanding  on cooperation with Su Yan, director of Foshan Business Bureau in Stockholm on April 20.

The signing came upon Foshan Mayor Zhu Wei’s visit to Sweden with a business and official delegation. SCEA Vice President Zhang Luping gave a brief introduction of the hosts.

David Lindblom from SCEA gave a brief introduction about Sweden saying that Sweden is an innovative country which has invented many products ranging from match to safety belt, from heart rescue machine to Skyppe and GPS locating system.

Joana Wang gave a brief introduction about SCEA aiming at serving as a bridge between Sweden and China.

Ulf Borbos gave an introduction about science park with one of the project is to find Chinese cooperation partners. Ms Wang serves as interpreter.

Mayor Zhu said he is very much interested in medical care cooperation with Karolinska Institute because in his city, they have achieved full scale urbanization meaning all the people enjoy the same urban medical care system. So they have enough patients for medical research while the medical  research environment is very good.

Retired Karolinska Institute Associate Professor in tumor Hu Lifu who is still very active in promoting Sino-Swedish medical cooperation introduced briefly about Karolinska Institutet.

The meeting also involved in two young startup forum founder who aims at helping young people to exchange between China and Sweden. They plan to take Swedish young people to China to visit Shenzhen, Guangzhou or Foshan.

Mayor Zhu welcome all to visit Foshan, the third largest city in Guangdong province, the vanguard of China’s reform and opening up begun in 1978.

Finally Zhang Luping and Su Yan signed the MOU on bilateral cooperation in exchanging business and trade information and providing assistance for each other when needed.

Zhang Yi, vice president of Swedish Chinese Federation was also present at the meeting.

Long Yuxiang Meets SCEA President Zhang Qiaozhen in Stockholm

STOCKHOLM, Jan. 16(Greenpost)—Visiting CPPCC member and Executive Director of China International Cultural Communication Center Long Yuxiang has met Zhang Qiaozhen, President of Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association in Stockholm on Jan. 13, 2018. They have exchanged ideas on promoting cooperation between China and Sweden in cultural, economic and sports sectors especially in ice hockey.

Zhang Qiaozhen has expressed warm welcome and deep gratitude  to Long Yuxiang’s visit. She said that SCEA is an information exchange platform for Swedish and Chinese entrepreneurs and was established on November  2015.  It mainly focuses on  environmental protection, energy saving technology, clean energy, biomedicine, life science, electronic information etc.

Zhang Qiaozhen said SCEA will try its best to provide a friendship bridge across the border and cultures between the two sides. It is a platform for scientific research, finance, trade and talented people. In the areas of  winter sports in particular ice hockey, China has made a great leap forward development in recent years and are looking forward to 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Zhang said SCEA hopes to be able to join hands with China International Cultural Communication Center to do its best in ice hockey cooperation and 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Long Yuxiang has thanked Zhang Qiaozhen for her contribution in pushing forward  exchanges and cooperation between the two sides. He said Sweden is an important country in Europe and the largest country in Nordic region. It has advanced economic and technological development. Its Swedish Model in social governance is well-known in the world.

Long said Sino-Swedish friendship has had a long history and Sweden is the first western country in the world to establish diplomatic relations with China.  In recent years, Sino-Swedish relations developed steadily and cooperation in various fields are deepened. As an important window for China to conduct cultural exchange with foreign countries, China International Cultural Communication Center has been engaged in making national cultural brand, holding the responsibility of attracting foreign culture towards the future, and established friendly relations with 130 countries in the world.

“President Xi Jinping has paid important attention to ice hockey development and made a series of directories for hosting 2022 winter Olympics. Kunlun Red Star Ice Hockey Club was established on June 25, 2016 witnessed by both Chinese and Russian Presidents. It symbolizes the birth of the first Chinese World class Ice Hockey Club. Since its establishment, it has seriously implemented Xi Jinping’s important mandate in order to promote Chinese Ice Hockey team to achieve excellent achievements in Winter Olympics. It has made great progress in improving Chinese ice hockey teams’ overall level. It also takes “belt and road” initiative as its mission to promote sports and culture exchanges. ”

Long Yuxiang said his center is more than willing to exchange and cooperate with Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association in promoting bilateral cultural , economic and sports especially ice hockey exchange and cooperation.

Yue Xinyu, founder of Beijing Kunlun Red Star Ice Hockey Club, Zhang Shouting, Nordic Sustainable Development Association, Zhang Shaobin, President of Shenzhen Kong Wah Real Estate Group, Zhang Shenhua, President of Shenzhen Xinyu Fund and Zhang Luping, General Manager of Rongtai Investment AB were also present at the meeting.

First Sweden-China Entrepreneur Conference held in Shenzhen fruitful

STOCKHOLM, Nov. 20(Greenpost)—The first Sweden-China Entrepreneurs Match Making seminar held in Shen Zhen on Nov. 17 was very fruitful.

 

Many Swedish companies including Nordic Innovation Center,  Bayn Europe AB and Highlands Uptown AB and Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association have presented their companies, met their Chinese counterparts and signed agreements with them for future cooperation.

At the forum focusing on belt and road initiative, Gao Sinuo, Shenzhen Investment Promotion Agency said that Shenzhen is an innovative and open city and the bridge in connection to the outside world. Shenzhen is a cosmopolitan with greatest potential to invest.

Patrik Edström from Bayn Europe AB said his company is engaged in studying sugar reduction solutions at various chain. It was established in 2009 and was in public listing in Nasdaq in 2014.

Anders Berg, CEO of Highlander Uptown AB said they are going to build a financial IT platform and can help financial institutions to lower their cost by 90 percent and give good returns for private savings.

Agreements signed during the conference

Three agreements have been signed during the Swedan China Entrepreneur meeting.

Zhang Qiaozhen, President of Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association and Zhang Kao, Secretary of Huaya Center signed MOU, Patrik Edström of Bayn Europe AB signed agreement with Zhang Luping, General Manager of Kongwah Real Estate Group on studying of sugar reduction.

Leif Anders Berg signed agreement with Zhang Shenhua, President  of Shenzhen Xinyu Fund Management Co.ltd.

Zhang Qiaozhen thinks this signing of agreements between Swedish and Chinese enterprises is due to  a two year efforts. Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association and Bayn Europe AB signed agreement to cooperate in lowering sugar for good health. Karolinska Cancer research project and Finteck Financial management project have been a sign that the two projects have been in contact and cooperation with their Chinese counterparts.

Trade talks between the two sides

Ai Xuefeng, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen led his colleagues Qiu Xuan, Gao Lin, Sun Huaizhong, Wang Youming and Chen Guangwen from Shenzhen government came to talk with the Swedish companies led by Olle Zetterberg, Director of Business Sweden, Ulf Borbos of North European Innovation Center, Leif Anders from Highlander Uptown AB, Zhang Qiaozhen , President of  Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association and Zhang Luping, General Manager of Kongwah Real Estate Group.

Ai Xuefeng made an introduction about Shenzhen’s economic development and its strategic role in belt and road initiative.

He welcome Swedish entrepreneurs to invest in Shenzhen.

Olle Zetterberg said he was very  glad to come to beautiful Shenzhen and willing to cooperate with China. Sweden has a lot of high tech which can have great potential in China. Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association gave us a good beginning in bringing Swedish technology into China.

Zhang Qiaozhen held that although Sweden is the first country that established diplomatic relations with China, due to historical and cultural differences, there is still lack of understanding between the two sides. That is why Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association came into being. Its headquarter is in Stockholm. Over the past two years, the association is engaged in projects in high-tech, environmental protection, energy saving, clean energy and electronics. So far it has helped 105 high-tech enterprises and provided incubation platform for dozens of companies.

Thanks to the Chinese government’s free booth of High-Tech fair, Sweden-China Entrepreneur Association help many enterprises to attend this exhibition. Her association will continue to  exert an important role in providing good bridge for the two sides.

On Nov.18, Zetterberg and other Nordic Entrepreneurs were invited to visit the headquarters of the Kongwah Real Estate Group which covers a total of 30 thousand square meters in 16 storeys. The two sides discussed the establishment of Shenzhen Nordic Innovation Center and Incubator.

Zhang Luping also presented the company’s development plan and structure,hoping more European High-Tech enterprises can end up in Shenzhen.
