CECA, PROFOCA, Green Post jointly hold Nordic Spring Concert

STOCKHOLM, April 17(STOCKHOLM)– China-Europe Cultural Association held its annual meeting and Nordic Spring Concert on Friday evening in Sensus building in Stockholm, together with PROFOCA and Green Post.

B18B7233_鍓湰_鍓湰Guo Yanhang, director of Counselar department of the Chinese Embassy in Sweden attended the event.

Guo said CECA and Green Post have worked hard in promoting Chinese culture by reporting the cultural events.

“Whenever there is important events, we can see the reporters from Green Post, such as Chinese Navy ships visited Sweden and Nobel Prize announcing ceremonies,”  said Guo.

IMG_0009_鍓湰Xuefei Chen Axelsson, President of CECA and chief editor of Green Post said the main mission for the two organizations is to be a bridge between China and Sweden while promoting Chinese culture and enriching the Chinese’s lives.

Chen Axelsson who is also President of PROFOCA said that PROFOCA is a journalist organization which was formed for the well-being of its members.

About 60 people attended the Nordic Spring Concert with support from Sensus.

B18B7457_鍓湰Chinese tenor Li Zhanchun sang the famous song, I love you China to conclude the concert.

B18B7298_鍓湰 (1)Famous Chinese flautist Wu Jing played Spring arrives in Xiangjiang River.  A very beautiful Chinese music.

B18B7308_鍓湰CECA’s dancer Zhao Yurou danced a Jazz dance.

B18B7332_鍓湰Ric Wasserman from PROFOCA played three English songs giving the audience the western flavor of music and songs. He plays guitar and sang the songs.

B18B7384_鍓湰Sun Yuan danced Dunhuang, a very classic dance in China.

B18B7408_鍓湰Li Sichao led a group of CECA’s members to dance Latin dance.

The performance were welcomed by all the audience, mostly members.

The event was also supported by Sweden Chinese Teachers’ Association, European-Asian Cultural Promotion Association and Sensus in Stockholm.

CECA has elected new members of the board.
