Nantong’s ”Attracting Talents Fair” held in Stockholm

STOCKHOLM, Nov. 1 (SCBR)—Nantong’s ”Attracting Talents Fair” has been held in Stockholm when about 60 masters, PhDs and those who
are already graduated and began to work attended the fair on Friday.

Li Congjun, Economic Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Sweden said
that Sweden is the largest trade partner of China in Nordic countries.

“It has a lot of advantage in new energy, new material, IT and other
areas. China is now in the tranformation period and badly needs technologies and expertise in these areas.”

He called on the students to go to Nantong to find thier development opportunities.

”Nantong is the only city that is facing the Yantze River and adjacent
to the sea. It faces double opportunities from Shanghai Free Trade
Zone and the development plan of Jiangsu Province which is promoting coordinated development of the Yantze River and the sea,” Wang
said.

He said Nantong is also boasting to be a town of textile, construction, sports and evern longevity people because there are many elderly
people who are over 100 years old.

Thus he called on the graduates to go to Nantong to create new
careers there because they can provide grants and various services
for the talented people.

”Compared with Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou, I found Nantong’s
leaders were more open and their offer to us is much better than
those in Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou, maybe because Nantong is
a middle sized city, ” Cheng said

It is noticed that Nantong enjoys very good air quality and beautiful natural environment.

During the fair, Nandong also announced to commission
Vicul International Culture Exchange Company as Nordic
Nantong Working Station for Introducing Talented People.

The fair was held by Nantong Municipal Government and
co-organized by Nordic Chinese Cultural Association and
Vicul International Culture Exchange Company.
